Mission & Vision

Our Mission

Through thoughtful storytelling, honest conversations, and a willingness to challenge conventional thinking, Project Wild explores the complexities of wildlife conservation, animal welfare, human trauma, and our relationship with the natural world.

We believe meaningful change begins with curiosity, grows through compassion, and becomes possible when we are brave enough to ask difficult questions and listen to perspectives beyond our own.

Our mission is guided by three principles:

Protect Nature. Tell Stories. Help People Heal.

Our Vision

A wilder, kinder world where nature is valued, every life is treated with compassion, and no story is dismissed simply because it is uncomfortable to hear.

We envision a world where difficult conversations lead to greater understanding, overlooked people find their voices, and challenging ideas are explored with open minds rather than immediately rejected.

A world where conservation is informed by evidence, healing is recognised as an essential part of human wellbeing, and empathy extends beyond the boundaries of what is familiar or convenient.

Tell Stories
Give a voice to overlooked people, uncomfortable truths, and perspectives that deserve a fair hearing.

Help People Heal
Bring attention to the experiences of those who suffer in silence, the trauma that often goes unrecognised, and the healing that can begin through understanding, connection, and compassion.

Project Wild exists to ask the questions that matter, tell the stories that need telling, and encourage conversations that can change things.
